About Me

Olivia Cure is a bilingual English/French jazz vocalist, pianist, composer and arranger based in the UK, recognised for her atmospheric vocal improvisation, cinematic interpretations and distinctive fusion of jazz traditions with contemporary expression.

Blending jazz, swing, chanson française and gypsy jazz influences, Olivia has developed a signature performance style centred around expressive scatting improvisation — reviving a classic jazz artform through layered vocal textures that emulate instrumental phrasing and become part of the ensemble itself. Her performances move fluidly between intimate storytelling and dynamic improvisation, creating an immersive live sound that sets her apart within the modern jazz landscape.

A featured main act at the Isle of Wight Jazz Weekend for three consecutive years, Olivia has also performed at acclaimed venues including Toulouse Lautrec in London alongside guitarist Debi Botos, as well as renowned Paris jazz clubs including 38Riv and Le Piano Vache.

Performing on both piano and vocals, Olivia reimagines jazz standards, vintage swing repertoire and contemporary works through sophisticated arrangements shaped by her cross-cultural background and deep connection to European jazz traditions. Her artistry combines technical musicianship with emotional depth, offering audiences a performance style that is both timeless and unmistakably modern.
